Cette fois-ci : \u00ab GM \u00bb comme George Maciunas. Outre l\u2019actualit\u00e9\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">des c\u00e9l\u00e9brations autour de Fluxus \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des cinquante ans du mouvement, la r\u00e9daction\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">ne pouvait faire de meilleur choix pour son lancement que de s\u2019int\u00e9resser \u00e0 l\u2019\u00ab\u00a0impresario\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">de Fluxus qui est une figure \u00e9clat\u00e9e par d\u00e9finition, difficile \u00e0 classer et dont la fonction m\u00eame\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">est d\u2019exacerber le paradoxe d\u2019une pluralit\u00e9 de l\u2019individu, insaisissable et \u00e9quivoque, venant\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">d\u00e9jouer les cat\u00e9gories de l\u2019individualisme ravageur mises en place par l\u2019id\u00e9ologie capitaliste\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">et dans laquelle presque rien ne r\u00e9siste face \u00e0 la force unificatrice de la marchandise et son\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">pseudo-myst\u00e8re.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff2\"><span class=\"a\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff1\"><span class=\"a\">George Maciunas a occup\u00e9 les r\u00f4les tout aussi diff\u00e9rents de graphiste, architecte, designer,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">agent immobilier, artiste, galeriste, \u00e9diteur, ou encore historien de l\u2019art. Tenter son portrait ne\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">peut se faire sur un autre mode que sur celui propos\u00e9 par<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00a0<em>Initiales<\/em><\/span><span class=\"a\"><em>,<\/em> c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire un ensemble\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">de circonvolutions se mouvant autour d\u2019un centre lui-m\u00eame en mouvement permanent. Il\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">est int\u00e9ressant en ce sens de remarquer que le choix port\u00e9 sur George Maciunas participe\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">activement de la conception de la revue, comme si l\u2019artiste lui-m\u00eame \u2013 plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment son\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00ab\u00a0esprit\u00a0\u00bb, comme nous l\u2019invite \u00e0 penser un entretien r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 2002 par le commissaire et\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00e9crivain Raimundas Malasauskas en pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un m\u00e9dium new-yorkais (\u00ab\u00a0Life after Life and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">after\u00a0\u00bb, p. 37-41) \u2013\u00a0s\u2019\u00e9tait invit\u00e9 dans le projet d\u2019une mani\u00e8re encore plus active que ne l\u2019avaient\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">imagin\u00e9 les initiateurs de cet hommage.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff2\"><span class=\"g\"><span class=\"a\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ff1\"><span class=\"a\">George Maciunas vient bienveillamment hanter<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00a0<em>Initiales<\/em><\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00a0et la fa\u00e7on dont s\u2019articulent les\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">contributions adh\u00e8re \u00e0 la croyance d\u2019une circulation des esprits et des formes, par-del\u00e0 les\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">diff\u00e9rences tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9es de chacun. Ce principe de l\u2019\u00e9clatement et de l\u2019infini des facettes se\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">montre garant d\u2019une joyeuse h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 cr\u00e9atrice d\u2019une connaissance fragment\u00e9e : artistes,<\/span><span class=\"a\">historiens de l\u2019art, commissaires, \u00e9crivains, enseignants, \u00e9tudiants &#8211; certaines de ces fonctions\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00e9tant souvent rassembl\u00e9es en la m\u00eame personne, ou inversement, circulant d\u2019une personne \u00e0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">l\u2019autre &#8211; ont fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette occasion toute une gamme de produits ambigus allant de l\u2019essai\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">\u00e0 l\u2019entretien, r\u00e9el ou imaginaire, passant par le t\u00e9moignage, la conversation ou le point de\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">vue, mais aussi le compte-rendu, en textes, en images ou en sons (la revue est accompagn\u00e9e\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">d\u2019un suppl\u00e9ment DVD comprenant un film et un entretien audio de George Maciunas).
