[Texte int\u00e9gral.]<span class=\"a\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Klaus Scher\u00fcbel produit avec <em>Vol. 13<\/em> un livre, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire un objet ambigu au sens mallarm\u00e9en. Il s\u2019agit l\u00e0 d\u2019une r\u00e9ussite. Catalogue rassemblant plusieurs expositions<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> ou chapitres du travail de l\u2019artiste conceptuel austro-canadien, <em>Vol. 13<\/em> est aussi une r\u00e9flexion sur ce que sont les espaces \u00ab&nbsp;d\u2019un&nbsp;\u00bb livre d\u2019une part, et \u00ab&nbsp;du&nbsp;\u00bb Livre&nbsp;de l\u2019autre&nbsp;: le Livre \u00e9tant le projet utopique de Mallarm\u00e9 jamais r\u00e9alis\u00e9 et sur lequel Scher\u00fcbel a travaill\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019artiste a personnellement con\u00e7u la publication et d\u00e9sign\u00e9 cet objet, augment\u00e9 d\u2019une conversation avec Helmut Draxler et de deux essais de Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Chevrier et de Patrice Loubier, comme treizi\u00e8me volume d\u2019une \u0153uvre en devenir. Il faut veiller \u00e0 ne pas trop simplifier la temporalit\u00e9 s\u00e9rielle du geste&nbsp;: si le lecteur assiste d\u2019abord \u00e0 un effet de classement par dates et lieux \u2013 propre au catalogue monographique \u2013 celui-ci se voit tr\u00e8s vite perturb\u00e9 pour donner lieu \u00e0 des effets de r\u00e9p\u00e9titions, de retours, de boucles. Scher\u00fcbel a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9ateur de mode et partage avec Mallarm\u00e9 une fascination pour l\u2019enveloppe, pour les rapports entre surface et int\u00e9riorit\u00e9, et donc pour l\u2019habit, l\u2019accessoire, le d\u00e9coratif. Rappelons que Mallarm\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 critique de mode et qu\u2019il ne d\u00e9solidarisait pas cette activit\u00e9 de ses recherches po\u00e9tiques.<\/p>\n<p>Si <em>Vol. 13<\/em> fonctionne comme livre et comme objet avec efficacit\u00e9 entre autres dans son maniement du temps et de l\u2019espace, on comprend peut-\u00eatre un peu moins le d\u00e9vouement du travail de Scher\u00fcbel&nbsp;\u00e0 Mallarm\u00e9: s\u2019agit-il d\u2019un mod\u00e8le, d\u2019une m\u00e9thode&nbsp;?
